Mineral Wool Insulation

Insulation for Cladding

Cladding Roll Alu-faced and Cladding Roll U/F, are manufactured in a variety of Thicknesses to suit the needs of virtually any applications to commercial or industrial framed buildings.

Successfully tested for fire resistance in accordance with BS 476: Part 22: 1987

Meets most U value requirements.

Very high tensile strength, particularly suitable for vertical cladding applications.

The unfaced product is a lightweight thermal insulation material in the form of a flexible mat, supplied in compression wrapped rolls. It is equally suitable for use in both roof and wall applications in industrial cladding systems.

Conlit 100 Boards

Designed for pin-fixed applications to structural steelwork. Boxed applications minimise fixings and material used; Conlit 100 is also ideal for profiled applications, variable angle welded constructions and curved surfaces. Foil-faced Conlit 100 is well suited for plenum air applications.

Assessed to BS 476 Part 21: 1987 for the fire protection of Loadbearing steel beams and columns for up to 4 hours protection, based on tests carried out to BS 476: Part 8: 1972.

Evaluated for use in return air plenums by the institute of Occupational Medicine to World Health Organisation test standards.

Can generally be fitted to circular forms over 700mm diameter using welded pins. Alternatively, preformed circular fire protection (Conlit Tube) may be used.

Rockwool Fire Barrier

Developed to inhibit the spread of smoke and flames through concealed spaces inbuildings, particularly above ceilings, Rockwool Fire Barrier is ideally suited for use in new works and refurbishment projects alike.

  • Complies with Building regulations for fire integrity and insulation
  • Fulfils cavity barrier requirements
  • Up to 2 hours fire resistance
  • Up to 1 hour fire resistance (timber frame)
  • Suitable for drops up to 10.5 metres
  • Purpose designed fixings
  • Simple installation thanks to flexibility

Conlit 150 Series

The Conlit 150 series of protection boards embodies a complete 'tool-box' of options to enable contractors to fins simple and economic fire protection solutions to the very real diversity of modern steel Constructions.

Proven in service over many years, these versatile, lightweight boards have been widely used to combat the extremes of site, mixed trade and climatic conditions.

Rockwool fire protection materials have been assessed to BS 476: Part 21: 1987 for the fire protection of Loadbearing steel beams and columns for up to 4 hours protection, based on tests carried out to BS 476: Part 8: 1972.

Protection stability has been examined for up to 6 hours.

  • 25mm thick boards meet 75% of fire protection requirements
  • Suitable for beams and columns
  • Quick, cost effective installation
  • Traditional noggin or stud welded steel pin fixing options
  • Moisture repellent, 'breathable' systems
  • Conlit 50 boards are sized 1800 x 1200mm, in thickness from 25mm up to 110mm
  • Fire Performance
  • Up to 4 hors fire resistance for structural steelwork, assessed at 550 șC failure criteria. All surfaces are class 0 as defined in the Building Regulations and are class 1 tested to BS 476: Part 7: 1971.

Complies with DIN 4102 A2

Configuration Options

Conlit 150 boards can be fitted to provide boxed or profiled protection for 1, 2, 3 or 4 sided exposed steel conditions, and may be glue fixed using noggings of the same material, or by fixing boards on to stud welded pins with pre-bonded or non-return sprung steel washers.
